Yesterday, after reading this article in The New York Times, I was left wondering why in the world the U.S. Paralympics Committee formally filed a protest expressly requesting one of its own athletes be designated ineligible for the Beijing Games? Thank God for his mother!

Okay! It is no secret – I dislike Utah. I lived in the state from 2001 – 2006, and a practicing Mormon or not, I could hardly stand it. I lived in four different cities. Being married in Utah, and a Mom On WheelZ in Utah merely cemented my discontent for strong Utah culture.
